Bold Orange Makeup

April 07, 2017

I love orange makeup. I have blue eyes and the contrast of the orange really makes them pop. Today I had a very orange makeup look on, and I got lots of compliments on it so I thought I'd share it here for some inspiration.

I started with my Liz Earle moisturiser for dry/sensitive skin all over my face, followed by a bit of No7 primer. After this, I applied my foundation, Urban Decay All Nighter in '0.5', blended with a damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. Next I applied my Seventeen Stay Time Concealer in 'Extra Fair' under my eyes and over blemishes, and blended it with an oval brush from Primark. I took my Natural Collection powder on a kabuki brush and set my foundation and concealer. Following this, I used Makeup Revolution's baked highlighter and blush on my cheeks, and filled in my brows with my Freedom brow duo compact. I then set all this using my Urban Decay Chill setting spray.

For my eyes, I used two beige colours from my Morphe 35f Fall into Frost palette in my crease and above to make everything easier to blend. After this, I used a fluffy brush to put some red from the same palette onto me crease and blending it out. Next I took a dab of Barry M dazzle dust in bronze on a flat eyeshadow brush and put it over my lid, creating a strong line between the bronze and red eyeshadow. I used a cream shade in the inner corner, and used black eyeshadow on an angled brush and used it to create a winged eyeliner look.

To finish up, I used some Eyelure eyelashes and used my No7 Luscious Lashes mascara to combine them with my natural lashes. Following this, I lined my lips with Urban Decay's 'Crash' lip liner and applied my Urban Decay metalized lipstick in 'Wildfire'. I then set everything again with my setting spray to complete.

If you recreate this makeup look, let me see it on Twitter and Instagram, and don't forget to leave a comment if you like this look!
