Urban Decay Haul and Unboxing

March 10, 2017

Hello everyone!

Over the weekend I went looking for the Urban Decay All Nighter foundation, and naturally, I ended up with an order worth over £100. It arrived today and I'm very excited to use what I got! I thought some of you may be interested in what I got, so I have a haul /unboxing for you now!

1. All Nighter Foundation in 0.5
I am stupidly pale, which means foundation is very hard to match to my skintone. I tried this one in Debenhams and it matches perfectly, but was unfortunately sold out. It was sold out for four weeks afterwards as well. Good thing the foundation I was using wasn't running out. (RESTOCK YOUR PRODUCTS REGULARLY) I am so happy to finally have it in my hands!

2. Chill Setting Spray
My face and hands tend to get very warm, and my college course is very active, so makeup melting off my face isn't that uncommon. I decided to try a setting spray, and just happened to come across this one. Not only is a setting spray, which helps your makeup last, but it's cooling as well so hopefully my face won't get so warm, meaning my makeup will stay all day long.

3. Vice Cream Lipstick 'Naked'
I find matte lipsticks incredibly drying to the point where they are uncomfortable, so I avoided the matte lipsticks and had a look at the cream ones, since that sounds moisturising and more comfortable. While I was looking through the swatches, I realised I don't actually have any nude lipsticks, so I decided to invest in the shade 'Naked'. It's a cool toned pinky nude.

4. Vice Metallic Lipstick 'Wildfire'
One thing I love is a bold orange lip. Because of this, I searched 'orange' in the lipstick section, hoping for one in the cream variety like the other one. Unfortunately there wasn't one, but they did have an orange metallic shade. I didn't really know what that meant, but now that I have it I can tell you it's an orange shade with shimmer. That's something different to anything I've tried before and I'm really excited about it! I've swatched it and it feels just as moisturising as the cream.

5. 24/7 Lip Pencil 'Peyote'
I never use lip pencils if I'm honest, but I know they're supposed to be good for stopping your lipstick bleeding and making filling in your lips a bit less fiddly. I decided to get the shade 'Peyote' to match 'Naked'. It's a little bit darker, but you can't tell when they're together.

6. 24/7 Lip Pencil 'Crash'
This lip pencil is to use with my new 'Wildfire' lipstick. It's a very bright orange that will look really cool paired with the more reddish lipstick. I've swatched both lip pencils and they glide onto the skin so smoothly without having to press on hard, and all the pigment transfers well.

Free Gifts
At the checkout, I was able to choose three free gifts to try out of a list of seven. This is what I chose:

7. Vice Liquid Lipstick Testers
This comes with four little pods of lipstick, which are probably just enough for one use. The shades in it are: 'Crimson', 'Purgatory', 'Wish', and 'Big Bang'. I'm most excited for the two glittery ones, 'Purgatory', and 'Big Bang'.

8. Naked Skin Concealer and Colour Corrector Testers
With this, I got four sachets of product. Unfortunately, none of the concealers are actually in my shade, but I can still swatch them to see coverage and blendability. They provided a yellow colour corrector, which I will definitely use on my undereyes to counter the purple.

9. Primer Potion Testers
I now have four little sachets of Primer Potion to try, which I'm happy about. Primer is an unmissable step for me, and I'm looking forward to getting to test the eyeshadow primer in particular to see if it makes a difference.

What's your favourite Urban Decay product?
