Boots Haul

January 06, 2017

Hello everyone!

I recently got quite a few things from Boots, both online and instore, and I thought I'd share with you what I got! Some things were discounted through promotions and sales as well, which is always a plus.

(Please note that most of these links are affiliate links, which means that I may receive a small commission if you make a purchase from clicking them. However, this comes at no extra charge to you, and all the opinions I express in this post are my own.)

No7 Powder Blush in 'Apricot Blossom'
I had a voucher to get a free No7 blush so I went and had a look. They had a chart of blushes that suit different skin tones, and I decided to go with this one. It's a pretty peachy pink shade.

Jack Wills Body Spray Trio
This was half price as it was a gift set and Christmas was over, so I got it for £5. I love body sprays and like to have some in my bag at college to refresh. These smell lovely.

Barry M Colour Correcting Kit
I have issues with dark purple undereyes and searched how to conceal them, and was directed to colour correction concealers. I decided to pick up this little compact because it has coral, green, nude and purple, and I'll be able to use all of them. It's smaller than I expected, but I imagine a little goes a long way with this.

Bleach London Super Cool Colour in 'Violet Skies', 'The Big Pink', and 'Awkward Peach'
One of my new year's resolutions was to dye my hair pink, purple, and peach at some point, so I thought I would pick these up. I've read online that they're good, and they're non permanent which is great in case they don't suit me. They're also cruelty free, which is always brilliant.

Barry M Gel Eyliner
I want to get back into the habit of doing eyeliner, so I went to look for my usual Barry M liquid eyeliner. That was sold out, but I've heard good things about gel eyeliner so I decided to get this little pot to try out. Hopefully I'll like it and be able to use eyeliner in my looks from now on!

'Nina' by Nina Ricci
I love the smell of this perfume but forgot to ask for it for Christmas. I ended up getting it for myself afterwards. It smells beautiful and will be used a lot, and I think the bottle is gorgeous! I will say that the packaging is misleading - the bottle could have comfortable fit in a box half the size of the one it came in, so I got a lot less product than I was expecting. That's something to bear in mind if you want to get this for yourself.

Bleach London 'Live Forever' Shampoo
I felt that if I'm going to dye my hair a wacky colour, I want it to last as long as possible, and since I'm using Bleach London dyes it's logical to use their shampoo to help. If I think this is helping, I will try their conditioner as well.

Real Techniques 'Miracle Eraser' Sponges
These are apparently for removing accidental mascara/eyeliner mistakes, but I got them to get into my undereye area and the corners of my nose more easily. I feel these places are often difficult for me to get to, which means I sometimes have issues with concealer/foundation not being blended properly. Hopefully these teeny tiny sponges help!

Have you been on a shopping spree recently? What did you get?

Thank you so much for reading, lots of love
