Jobs, Driving, and Great Grades | The Weekly Update #2

I'm looking for a job, so this week was full of sending off job applications and editing my CV. I have submitted an application for The Body Shop in my town, and I'd absolutely love it if that went somewhere. I adore their products and would really enjoy the opportunity to continue making it my job to share my knowledge on them!

Another thing I've done this week is start driving lessons. While to begin with I was very nervous, now that I know the basic controls and have had the chance to drive around an empty car park, I feel a lot more confident and am excited to learn more. My instructor is very kind and patient, which I appreciate, especially considering horror stories of people's nasty driving instructors! There's a lot to remember and it takes a lot of concentration, but I'm sure with more lessons I'll be driving in no time!

I got some exciting news this week. At the end of my first year at college, I was given my  grades, and I was told I'd got a Distinction Distinction, which is not the highest grade possible, but is still a very good grade to earn. However, my certificate arrived on Saturday, and I learnt that I officially have a Distinction* Distinction* for my first year! Now that is the highest grade you can get, and I am incredibly proud!

Let me know what you've been up to this week in the comments!
