This week has been pretty standard if I'm honest. I've been working extremely hard at the gym, which I'm proud of, and I hope that if I can keep it up then the health and fitness benefits will pay off. If you're wondering what I'm up to at the gym, here's a breakdown of some of the things I do!

40-50 minutes cardio
Treadmill - alternating between one and a half minutes walking and 30 seconds sprinting, usually on a fairly high incline. This is known as High Intensity Interval Training and is an effective way of burning fat.
Cross Trainer - I literally just go at a moderate pace for ten to fifteen minutes. I like the motion of the machine so I don't find it boring! (is that weird?)
Lateral Trainer - Same as the Cross Trainer, I just really enjoy the motion of it. I also like to do squats on this for better results.
Bike - I put it on a fairly high resistance and just go for it for a bit!
Stairmaster - I don't go fairly fast on this, but I tend to do anywhere between 300 and 500 steps.

20-30 minutes muscles
Sometimes I use the machines for toning my legs and arms, but mostly I like to use the dumb bells and kettle bells to work on toning up my arms. I think that most of the cardio I do is pretty leg-intensive, so I don't feel the need to work my leg muscles as much.

I've also been doing a lot of craft this week, decorating some storage boxes so I can keep things organised and displayed nicely, and also making some hair bows for a trip to Disneyland my mum and I are taking next month. We like to accessorise in a way that suits Disney!

Finally, this week I had my induction for a new job at Primark! Today I met the other people in my department, and I'm pleased to say they're all lovely (thank goodness). I work in Childrenswear and I love all the little clothes, particularly the ones that are inspired by Disney, and I find it very satisfying to organise my section of the department. I'm looking forward to starting for real next week!

Aww I love your bows, and I especially love Marie! I have had a gym membership for a while because my sister made me join, and then there were some issues with payment so I had to fix it with her and my brother-in-law, and I really don't like going to the gym (I prefer online streaming or DVDs, and I prefer yoga and barre type workouts) but I am thinking about doing Kayla Itsines BBG program!

Thank you! Marie is one of my favourite Disney characters so I'm really looking forward to making her bow! :D I think that the atmosphere isn't for everyone, it sounds like you prefer to do it with a bit more privacy, which is definitely great. I've recently joined a yoga class which I really enjoy - a little bit of stretching does a world of good! Ooh I haven't heard of that, I'll be sure to look it up!
