January Favourites

Hello everyone!

At the start of every month I like to reflect on the things I've enjoyed the month before. January was the month I went back to college after the Christmas holidays, so it's been a tiring and fast paced month. However, I've still found time to enjoy a few things, and I want to share them with you here on my blog!

I got a sample of this primer in December and used it all up quickly, so I went and purchased the full sized tube quickly! This has replaced my usual primer (The Body Shop's 'Matte It') because I feel it does a better job of minimising pores and fixing my makeup in place.

Netflix
I finally got Netflix, and I don't know why I put it off for so long (actually, I do, I didn't want to pay when I had working pirating sites ;P). There are so many shows on here that I wanted to watch for so long, and I'm happy to be able to do that on such a user-friendly site. There are no pop up ads, everything is organised neatly, and I like the recommendations they provide. I've been watching 'Making a Murderer' and 'The Client List', having finished 'Gossip Girl' at the beginning of the month.

In the January sales, I went out and bought myself a charm for my Pandora bracelet, and while I was in the shop, I picked up a catalogue. When I get home, I went through it and circled the things I liked the look of. I kid you not, there is a circle on practically every page. They have so many beautiful designs at the moment from charms to earrings, to rings and necklaces. I might have to make a Pandora wishlist at some point because there is so much I want from there!

Jessica Gelaration
I got my nails done for the first time this month. I went to my local salon and got Jessica Gelaration done in a pretty burgundy shade. I loved the shade, and the finish was smooth, shiny and beautiful. In the two weeks before I picked them off (I'm awful, I know) there wasn't a single chip. Not one. It's impressive stuff.

I was looking for some more storage for my room and decided to have a look in TK Maxx, because I've always seen nice storage in there before. It only took a few minutes for me to come away with four new storage boxes for my room. They're large and pretty, and I love them to bits, although the poor woman who served me really had to struggle with them to get them in the bag!

Liz Earle Cleanser
My aunt got me a set of Liz Earle products for Christmas and I've been using them regularly since. The one that impressed me the most was the hot cloth cleanser. It removes even waterproof makeup quickly and easily, with minimal scrubbing. My face feels clean and smooth, and the product smells nice as well.

Tulips
Bit of a wildcard, but I bought some flowers for myself this month and they're gorgeous. I got them from M&S and they lasted two weeks before wilting. Something about having flowers in a room makes everything feel nice and cozy.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
I'm soooooo late to the party on this, but you guys, this film is incredible! The characters were likeable and relatable, the effects were brilliant, and the story and adventure had me hooked the entire time. I was in the cinema for two hours and felt like fifteen minutes. If you aren't the biggest Harry Potter fan, I'd still recommend giving this a go, because the story is entirely its own and separate from that franchise.
