Fall Into Frost Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to show you how to do a simple maroon makeup look. It's inspired by a few looks I've been seeing on Pinterest, and I used my Morphe 30f Fall Into Frost palette. This palette is one of my favourites at the moment, thanks to its bronze and red shades that work nicely with my blue eyes.

1. Prime. Primer helps keep your makeup on all day, and it provides a smooth base for you to apply it to. This is the No7 Airbrush Away Pore Minimising Primer. I apply a small amount all over my face with my hands.

2. Foundation. I'm using a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge to blend in my foundation, which is Elizabeth Arden Perfectly Nude Foundation in 02 Albaster.

3. Concealer. Apply a generous amount of concealer (I use Seventeen Stay Time in Extra Fair) on blemishes and under your eyes, and blend using a Miracle Complexion Sponge from Real Techniques. For hard to reach spots, I tend to reach for the smaller, purple versions of these sponges.

4. Transition shade. Take a matte beige eyeshadow and blend it thoroughly through the crease of your eyelid and up towards the brow bone.

5. Crease. Using a darker, more reddish matte brown, go into the crease and outer corner of your eye. Blend this thoroughly for a soft line.

6. Outer corner. Take a shimmery red shade in the outer third of your eyelid. Really pack the colour on.

7. Inner corner. Use the same shade in the inner third of your eyelid. Again, make sure to get as much colour as possible out of your shadow.

8. Lid. Fill in the blank space with a shimmery dark cream shade, overlapping the red slightly and blending the two shades together.

9. Check that the shadow is as pigmented as you want it. Continue adding eyeshadow and blending until you are happy with the result.

10. Eyeliner. I used the Barry M gel eyeliner in Black to create a nice wing.

11. Mascara. Finish off the eyes with a couple of coats of mascara. This is Wonder'full by Rimmel London. It contains argan oil to nourish the lashes.

12. Blusher. Finish with some blusher on the apples of your cheeks. I used No7's powder Blusher in Apricot Blossom.

13: Apply a bit of lipgloss (this one is from Estee Lauder and is the shade 05 Nude Rose. This is the final result:
