HAUL: Some Lush Stuff

I popped into my local Lush store a few days ago to have a sniff of the Easter stuff they had in. I must admit, I was disappointed. I'm pretty sure they didn't have some of the things I'd seen in Lush Easter hauls and stuff like that, and quite a lot of what they did have I wasn't too keen on. It seems this year's Easter selection is more geared towards fans of refreshing, earthy scents. Personally, I prefer sweeter scents (but not 'Snow Fairy' sweet - bleurgh!). However, there were a couple that I liked, and I decided to pick up an old favourite from their regular stock as well.

Now before you go saying that £6.95 is an extortionate price for a bath bomb, 'Which Came First' is huge. This is because it can be split in half to reveal an extra bath bomb inside. Therefore it's good for three baths and not a ridiculous amount to pay. It's packed with citrus and vanilla scents, so it's very sweet and uplifting.

Again, this one sorts you out for three baths, so don't holler about the price! While most people have been saying that this guy's little face is pretty cute, I honestly find it a tad creepy. (Why is he grinning at me? I'm going to smash his head in to access an extra bath bomb. That's nothing to grin at, Humpty, you weirdo.) However, what isn't creepy is this bath bomb's lovely scent. It has Brazilian orange and bergamot oils in it, and smells of sweet caramel. It's really gorgeous.

'Twilight' is a great bath bomb to use before bed. This is because its main scent is lavendar, which is of course known for helping you sleep. I personally find this a very warm and relaxing smell - after soaking in a bath with this, I feel strangely comforted! Even the pretty swirls of pink and blue in the bath make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside! It's one of my firm favourites.

Have you tried the Easter range from Lush this year? Were you impressed or disappointed?

    1. I must say I relate to that! I'd seen a couple of hauls and thought it looked worth picking up a few bits and pieces, but there wasn't as much choice as I'd hoped. It's definitely a lovely scent!
